About me

Hi there 👋

My names Barbara, I’m a 40 year old mum of a beautiful 9 year old daughter. I come from a creative background with years experience teaching and assessing.

I formed BA Childcare in 2022 following prolonged furlough throughout the pandemic. During this period I had time to step away from the hustle bustle of my busy life and home school my own daughter.
This gift of time allowed me to realise working in childcare is what I love most - teaching through play - and helping to nurture amazing little people - that will one day shape the future - and I have not looked back since 😄

Philosophy

Although I generally keep the group sizes small my mum is registered as my assistant, and the children love her visits, where she may help with crafting, baking or give us all a gardening lesson.
